FAQs

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests and families formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Event dress code is semi-formal attire. Feel free to wear any color you would like however the bride asks that you stay away from white. You are welcome to wear jeans and boots. July in Texas is hot so dress cool and don't forget your dancing shoes.

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at The Venue at Mari Springs. The ceremony will held in the chapel. Cocktail hour will be held outdoors (weather permitting). Reception will be held in the Red barn. Chapel and The Red barn are climate controlled.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Children are allowed and they will be on your formal invitation. Remember to please watch over your children carefully. The venue is in the country and if your children stray too far off they may be met by security and unwanted wildlife.

Question

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! The venue is wheelchair accessible.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. We ask that all phones and devices be put away and on silent during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture one of the most important moments of our lives. We'd hate to have a well-intentioned person's phone or device blocking that moment for them to capture. We promise to share the ceremony pictures with all of our friends and family once we receive them.
