Ryan and I’s love story may not seem like your traditional love story, nonetheless it’s our love story, filled with love, laughter, and so much joy. We had met on facebook dating back in October of 2023. We were long distance and the first month was just us talking on the phone, texting, and many long/late night phone calls to where we would fall asleep talking to one another. Fast forward to December 15th of 2023 we finally met for the first time. I was extremely nervous and I knew he was too. We spent that day just talking and getting to know one another on a deeper level. I know it’s cliche to say it was love at first sight, but it really was. From that day we knew that we wanted to make it official, and so December 15th was marked in the calendar as our anniversary date. From there we have had so many adventures filled with laughter and love. Little did I know that January 31st 2025 was just a start to one of our biggest adventures yet! A night that I thought was supposed to be to celebrate Ryan’s birthday turned out to be the night he asked me to marry him. We went out to one of our favorite restaurants and I could tell that night he was nervous but I didn’t know why. We had ended the night by walking around Bailey lake, while walking he stops us in the middle of the trail we were on and say’s “I think I know what I want for my birthday”. When I asked him what that was he got down on one knee and asked me if I would spend the rest of my life with him and I said yes with tears in both our eyes. This is just the beginning of the biggest adventure we will have together being by each other’s side to navigate life.
