Ezeiza International Airport

Buenos Aires has two airports. The main airport is Ezeiza International Airport (EZE) which is the only airport that has direct flights from the U.S.A. The smaller airport Aeroparque Internacional Jorge Newbery (AEP) is closer to the center of the city. If you have layover in South America, then this airport is an option. There are no direct flights from LAX to Buenos Aires. There are several options where you only have 1 layover. You can fly United Airlines with a layover in Houston (IAH) You can fly American Airlines with a layover in Miami (MIA) or New York (JFK) You can fly Delta Airlines with a layover in Atlanta (ATL) You can fly LATAM Airlines with a layover in Lima, Peru (LIM) or Santiago, Chile (SCL) On the way to Buenos Aires we recommend booking a layover that is at least 3 hours. There is only 1 flight a day to Buenos Aires from each airport, so if you miss it because your first flight is delayed, you will be spending an extra day at the airport.

Travel Note

Where to Stay

We recommend that you do not stay near the wedding venue, which is outside of the city. We recommend you stay in the City of Buenos Aires in the neighborhoods of Palermo or Recoleta (near the Cementerio de la Recoleta). Generally AirBnbs are more affordable, but both areas offer boutique hotels. If you have questions about where to stay, please contact us.

Rental Car

We recommend Uber and Cabify to get around the City

We do not recommend renting a car. We recommend using Uber or Cabify. If you use Uber we recommend selecting Comfort instead of UberX. You can order an Uber from Ezeiza International Airport (EZE) when you arrive. Uber does not offer an UberXL in Argentina, so please keep this in mind if you are traveling in a large group or with a lot of large checked bags. It is possible to book a private transfer with a larger van if you plan in advance.
