Lyndsey met Ryan through her high school best friend, Taylor. Lyndsey was looking for a prom date, and Taylor met someone via a swim meet. Taylor asked that person to help find Lyndsey a prom date. This person texted in a group chat in which Ryan responded saying, "I'll give it a shot!" The couple texted for a couple days before impulsively meeting and having their first date and double date at the Willowbrook Mall. The rest is history!
