Are you having a wedding ceremony before the "wedding celebration"?
Answer
We are holding an intimate micro-wedding ceremony with close family only on Monday, March 25 2024. Despite being unable to invite everyone to the ceremony, we still want to celebrate with all of our friends and family! The wedding "celebration" on Saturday March 23, 2024 will be a a night of drinks, dancing, and food-- just like a traditional reception! We are excited for you to celebrate our union with us and make it a special night.

What is "Vegas Formal"?
Answer
We want the night to be reminiscent of the glitz and lights of a Vegas elopement, but in Virginia! Sequins and cocktail dresses are desired for women, casual suits for men-- basically wear what you would if you were going out for a fancy but fun night in Vegas! Of note, this party will be held outside (with indoor bathroom access), we recommend wearing shoes appropriate for dancing in grass + bringing a jacket!

What is the parking situation at the party?
Answer
We are transforming our large backyard into a fabulous party atmosphere! As it is being held at our house, the neighborhood around us has plenty of street parking. However, we do recommend ride sharing/uber for those that plan to drink!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the party we ask that you do not bring children under the age of 16. We recommend enjoying your night off/making it a date night! :)
