Maid of Honor
We first met at a student club while attending Ferris State University and later to be working at the same college part-time job together! We became inseparable, bonding over our shared love for electronic music and being amateur foodies. I view her as a sister whom I cherish and look up to. We have experienced so many great memories, I recall one of my favorite times together was when we were buzzed and decided to worship jicamas. Weird, but that's us! I love Vivian for her huge heart, sassy sense of humor, and her ability to turn any serious situation into a funny one. Did I mention that we're both are cat-obsessed individuals that aspire to run a shelter someday? She is one of the most loyal and sweetest people I know, and I couldn't be happier to have her stand by side on the day.
Best Man
Scott and I met at Western Michigan University as suite mates in the dorm. It took a bit for our friendship to grow and become what it is today - but the saying is "Rome wasn't built in a day." Throughout college I could always count on hanging our with Scott each weekend and having a great time. Our friendship has involved many nights of going out, events, friend trips, and a few heart-to-hearts, with many more to come. Since college Scott has been a rock of consistency and encouragement. He is the friend that you would call if you needed a ride somewhere, a pong partner, or a friend to just listen to whats going on. I couldn't ask for a better man to be by my side and I am sure you will all see why Linda and I's wedding day.
Bridesmaid
As a friend of Ryan initially, he introduced us to each other and the rest was history. She welcomed me warmly and after some time getting to know each other, I realized that we were very similar people! Talar and I quickly grew to being great friends after countless of nights out on the town together. With that, we have shared so many other fun memories from head banging at music festivals to cuddling with cute kittens over a glass of wine. I love that we can laugh about almost anything, and the way she's able to let me see other sides of things. What I love about Talar is her kindheartedness, witty sense of humor, and our shared obsession for malt vinegar.
Groomsman
Jon and I took a bit to warm up to each other, similar to his dog Cookie. Jon is one of my friends that I can always rely on getting his true feelings. Through the thick and thin, Jon is the type of friend you can always rely on and if you want Fantasy Football advice or to hit the links - hes your guy. I am grateful for the two years we spent living together just us and the bond it created. Watch out for this guy on the dance floor at our reception!
Bridesmaid
Megan has been one of my best mates after working together. She's an all around amazing human. I remember the countless times she has helped me at Sushi Kuni, from making drinks to busing tables. Outside of the restaurant, Megan continued to be a supportive friend and a person to turn to for stable advice or to let all your frustrations out. We share a love of all things beauty related, eating endless amounts of good food, and lets face it, we thrive on being basic gals together. I can count on her for anything. What I love most about her is her caring nature, fearless attitude, and constancy.
Groomsman
Mike is my second oldest friend in terms of years known. We met in sixth grade and quickly realized we were one in the same. Even though Mike went to GVSU instead of WMU, we still saw each other often. Mike and I may not exchange as many words as others, but we always know how each other thinks and feels either way. Next time you are looking to play some sports, video games, or just enjoy a great meal - think of Mike.
Groomsman
Conor and I met our sophomore year of high school. Since then, Conor has been one of my most reliable friends. Conor and I skipped our Economics class and went to Campus Kitchen instead so much that I would be surprised if I found us actually heading to class. When he was moving to Phoenix, he called me and asked him to be his reference so he could rent a U-Haul, of course I obliged. You can always count on Conor to have a great time, challenge you where needed, and offer support to help you move forward. No matter the distance Conor is always one of my go-to guys.
Groomsman
Mike is my oldest friend. Throughout high school Mike and I were always hanging out. Whether it was basketball in the backyard, pulling an all nighter with Mario Party, or just watching The Office and playing ping-pong - we always had a great time. Right after college Mike and I lived together all four years of college and then another year post-college. Mike is the friend that will not only consider your feelings, but everyone around you. Mike doesn't have a bad bone in his body. I am grateful for our friendship and look forward to the next 26 years.
