How We Met: We met each other through the UGA hockey team when Lili started interning for the team in 2023 while Ryan was one of the goalies. We became good friends throughout the fall of 2024. Our first hangout outside of hockey was for Ryan's basketball class, where he had to go play basketball with someone and take a picture, that someone being Lili. After many nights of watching The Office together, talking to each other nonstop at hockey practices and games, our first "official" date took place on October 26th at Texas Roadhouse. We started dating 2 days later, on October 28th! Dating while traveling around during Ryan's senior year on the team was such a treat. We have created so many fun memories together through the hockey team, and quickly realized no amount of time together was too much! We got engaged on October 28th, 2025 (our one year), and we wouldn't have wanted it any other way:) Our Favorite Memories Together: We LOVED getting to go to the beach together 3 times this past summer. That was the first time we've ever spent more than 2-3 consecutive days together, and it was an absolute blast getting to spend so much time with one another. Waking up at 4 am to go fishing every morning was easily the highlight of the trips! We've also really enjoyed getting to travel around together through hockey and our free time. We've gone to Austin, Jacksonville, Seagrove Beach, Mexico Beach, Tampa, Nashville, Chattanooga, Memphis, Savannah, Huntsville, and Augusta (to name a few haha). I think one of our sweetest memories, that we will both cherish forever, is getting baptised together. It has been so wonderful growing in our faith with one another and getting to publicly declare our love and devotion to the Lord together. If you take one thing from our relationship, it's that God has been the very foundation of it long before we ever realized He was working in both of our lives to bring us together. And for that, we will forever be grateful! What We Like To Do Together: We love making dinner at home, trying new restaurants as well as going back to those that were our favorites, watching hockey games, napping (Ryan), going to church, being silly and making each other laugh, going fishing, getting sweet treats, grocery shopping together, watching college football all day on Saturday, baking, going to the beach, and taking long roadtrips together. We wouldn't be the people we are today without all the love and support everyone has poured out on us over the years <3
