Ryan and Lauren attended the College of Saint Rose together. He noticed her on the beautiful sunny quad and decided to approach Lauren at a later date. Lauren was a little unsure at first until Ryan took her out for the first time to The Cheesecake Factory! After sharing lots of laughs and good conversations over the weeks, Ryan asked Lauren to be his girlfriend.

Ryan always wanted to propose to Lauren on either the day they started to first talk to one another or on the day that they began their dating journey. He was too excited to wait until March, so he proposed in January. Ryan knows Lauren is so close to her family and friends. He was hoping to propose to her with her family by her side. Although this did not go completely as planned due to the pandemic, it was still special. Ryan proposed to Lauren at their home and had her family on Facetime. He made a very special video about their journey of dating and it was beautiful!
