What should I wear to the Welcome Party on Saturday?
Answer
Wear whatever you are comfortable in! The bride and groom will be dressed up but this will be a casual event with light bites and an open bar!

Will dinner be served on Saturday?
Answer
We will have party platters of brewery favorites (think sliders, veggie trays, dips/crackers, salads, and pizzas) to snack on, but it will not be a formal, sit-down affair. Please plan on exploring Austin’s endless restaurant options after stopping in to say hi!

Pinthouse is offering their selection of beers, a cider, and a choice of red or white wine!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony on Sunday?
Answer
Guest access to Barr Mansion begins at 4 PM and the ceremony will start at 4:30 PM.

What is parking like at Barr Mansion?

There is a very large gravel parking lot on the property that will accommodate everyone's vehicles!

What are our transportation options?
Answer
We have a shuttle for guests of the Hampton Inn running to and from the hotel the entirety of the wedding ceremony/reception. For anyone looking to use a rideshare service, getting an XL Uber or Lyft can save on costs when splitting between multiple parties. The Austin airport also offers rental cars. We suggest looking on sites like Rakuten for ways to save money on rentals!

What should I wear to the wedding ceremony and reception on Sunday?

Garden Party Attire: Wear lightweight clothing like sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and fun hats and fascinators. Think Kentucky Derby meets tea with the Queen. We will be serving "Family-Style" platters at each table so feel free to help yourself to whatever looks good! We are requesting any dietary restrictions on the online RSVP. There will be an open bar because, well, we know you.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside so we can enjoy Barr Mansion's garden! The reception will take place indoors so we can eat and dance the night away in AC!

What will the weather be like?
Answer
While it is impossible to say, the average high temperature is around 80 degrees, with some years being even hotter. We suggest light clothing in the style of a garden party/English tea ceremony!

We expect the reception to end at 9:30 PM. We definitely plan on going out after -- we'll announce a destination at the wedding!
