Kylie was the maid of honor at her friend Alli's wedding as she was marrying Ryan's cousin Andy. She gave a speech, did the twist, conga-lined, and at some point in the night Ryan was dazzled by her moves and realized he couldn't live another moment without her. With encouragement from family (shout out Christi), he asked for her number at the end of the evening and revealed that he actually lived in Atlanta! With Andy as the lynchpin helping get Kylie's phone number "she forgot" to give to Ryan, a date was set. One week later was our first of many FaceTime dinner dates (Chick-fil-A of course), and the rest is history..

Our first in-person date was at Hawk Mountain, after Ryan flew to visit Kylie the night before. It was late, like midnight, and well past Kylie's typical bedtime he's learned. The date and trip went so well, Ryan moved his flight back twice to stay for an additional week! Almost 10-months later, we returned to Hawk Mountain for a hike with a few close friends and family. At the peak, after waiting out snakes and groups of strangers who wouldn't leave, and where we sat on our first-date, he stumbled through his proposal. And for some odd reason, she said yes. We cried, popped champagne, and celebrated that night with friends and family on the farm. We are pumped to now get the chance to celebrate this special day with you all, and hope you can join us in April!
