Flight
Aer Lingus is preferred Irish airline with the most flight options at the cheapest rate. Direct options from Chicago (ORD) or connecting in Boston (BOS), Philadelphia (PHL), New York (JFK), Newark (EWR), or Washington Dulles (IAD) to Dublin (DUB). American, United & Delta also fly direct into Dublin airport. Dublin to Dromoland Castle is about a 2.5/3.0hr drive depending on traffic getting out of Dublin. Transportation suggestions found below. Note: You can go through American customs and security in Dublin, which saves you time when you arrive back in America for those without Global Entry. One of the only airports in Europe that offers this! Make sure to give yourself ample time (3hrs) prior to departure.

Flight
The drive to Dromoland Castle is only 15 minutes from Shannon airport. Taxi's/rental cars are available at the airport. Direct flight options are available from Chicago (ORD) into Shannon (SNN) on United only. Please note that only ONE flight leaves from Chicago to Shannon per evening. Flights will release 330 days prior to departure date (end of September/beginning of October). Otherwise, connecting flights through Boston (BOS), Newark (EWR) and New York (JFK) through Aer Lingus, American, and United Airlines.

Travel Note
Make sure your passport is valid for the entire duration of your stay. There is no minimum passport validity for US citizens traveling into Ireland, but does vary between 3-6 months for other European countries. Don't wait until last minute!

The room rate will vary on a first come, first serve basis between the classic and deluxe rooms. The Inn at Dromoland is about a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive to the Castle where all events will be held. We will be providing shuttle transportation at various times throughout the wedding festivities and local taxi's will be available. The room rate will vary on a first come, first serve basis between the superior and premier rooms. The room block dates are reserved with the majority on the 28th, 29th, & 30th with a few on the 31st of August. Breakfast is included in your cost each morning. Shuttle

A shuttle will be available to take guests to and from the Inn/Castle on both days, Thursday & Friday. More details to come on exact times. Download the app for taxis called FreeNow for quick and easy transportation options while traveling in Ireland. Uber is also used in Dublin, but not as available as FreeNow. Please note that wait times are much longer outside major cities and guests are encouarged to use local taxis for faster pick up.
