Is there a block of rooms for a hotel?

Answer

Yes! We have two blocks of rooms at two different hotels. Go to “Travel” under the menu selection for more information.

Can I RSVP online?

Answer

Yes! The link for our website will be included on the wedding invitation. You can RSVP on here AND choose your meal!

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Unfortunately no, this will be an adult only event. The only children that will be attending are our children, our nieces and our nephews. There will be other wedding festivities children can attend if you choose to bring them along.

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue?

Answer

If you are staying in one of the two hotels that is group-rated, there will be a shuttle provided from the hotel to the venue, and back. The shuttles will be available from 5 PM to 1 AM. If you plan on driving, you can park in the front of the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation. It is the red brick building at the intersection of Oakwood Blvd. and Village Dr. There will be plenty of parking available.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres and will have an open bar during cocktail hour. The bar will closed for a short time between 7:30 PM and 8:00 PM, before the reception starts. Dinner will be served after the toast, at 8:30 PM. At 10:30 PM, guests can enjoy our afterglow Coney Bar and desserts. There will be plenty of food and an open bar until 12:30 AM.
