We fell in love in the summer of 2014, and we both knew instantly there was something special between us. We connected by my cousin whom has been friends with Ryan for years since they played hockey together through Reading. I remember seeing him at some hockey games since I would always be there supporting my cousin. We instantly grew a relationship, especially because of our morals and values, and the way we were raised. We got to travel a bit in the beginning of our relationship, had different living arrangements, raising our beloved dog together and now have a house together. We have had plenty of ups and downs together before we walk down the aisle, but has only made us stronger. The Proposal: The holidays came and went very quickly in the year of 2018. We were getting ready to have "brunch" with Ryan's parents on January 6th, 2019 and I was upstairs putting make up on and he yelled up "Reilley wants to see you". Reilley came charging up the stairs as usual, and I look down on his collar and there was the ring. I turned around and Ryan was on one knee. He said some beautiful words, and asked me to marry him. I was so excited that I was in shock, and finally said yes. In the midst of saying yes, Reilley took off with the ring still attached. We got a hold of him, thank god! We were on the way to brunch and I was calling everyone or texting everyone that I could, but no one was around. We walk into the Village Tavern in Salem, and there was a small party of some of our loved ones to celebrate our engagement! It was perfect! We are extremely excited to embark on the next chapter of our lives together, and make even more memories together! Thank you all for being part of our lives, and celebrating our union.
