Things To Do
Portland was originally known for it's working fishing wharves and as a great starting point for coastal, lakefront, and wooded summer vacations to the north.
More recently, the city's reputation as full-on food heaven full of acclaimed restaurants, small-batch coffee roasteries, and world-class breweries has come to the forefront. We've sampled quite a few of these and have some opinions on things to eat and do!
If you can stay awhile consider visiting Acadia National Park, Bath, or Camden/Rockport/Rockland.
