Our journey began as teenagers, when we first got to know each other in high school. What started as a friendship built on shared classes, hallway conversations, and plenty of laughter slowly grew into something much more. Even in those early years, there was a quiet sense that we had found something special—something worth holding on to. On September 26, 2017, we officially became a couple—and exactly eight years later, to the day, we’ll be saying “I do.” We couldn’t think of a better way to honor our story than to get married on the same date our journey began. Since high school, we’ve done almost everything side by side. We went off to college together, started our first jobs around the same time, and eventually took on one of our biggest projects yet: buying and completely renovating our first home. It was more than just a house—it was a full-blown transformation, filled with dust, demo days, learning curves, and countless “what did we just get ourselves into?” moments. But through it all, we turned it into a space that’s truly our own, and a reflection of everything we’ve built together. Now our home is full of love, laughter, and just the right amount of chaos—thanks to our three beloved pets: two playful kittens and a very spirited puppy who keep us on our toes. Through every chapter—good, crazy, exhausting, hilarious—we’ve built a life we love. And now, on the exact date it all began, we’re getting married! We’re so excited to tie the knot and celebrate with the people who’ve cheered us on, supported us, and laughed with us over the years.
