Ryan spent many years in the Boston area, between living in the North Shore during his undergrad years or living in the city during his postgraduate work at Northeastern. Below are some bullet points of some of his favorite areas! Please reach out for specific recommendations: - Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall Marketplace - Mike's Pastry - Boston Public Market - The Long Wharf - Boston Common - Downtown Crossing - Newbury Street - Fenway Park
Just about every Summer, Ryan and Garrett would spend a week at a timeshare in Fryeburg, Maine with Bampa and Memere. During that week they would make several trips to North Conway, a town at the foot of the White Mountains. North Conway has a lot to offer in shopping, outdoor activities, and great food. Be sure to check out Zeb's General Store!
Portland could have a multiple sections, but we will try and condense into some highlights below. We encourage you to explore Maine's biggest city! - The Old Port: great for restaurants and bars. Every type of food or drink you can think of, its here! - Hadlock Field: The Sea Dogs are the Double A affiliate of the Red Sox. - Portland Headlight: Located in South Portland, the iconic lighthouse. - The East End: Walking the park in East End has a great view of the Bay.
Flagstaff Lake, or up to "camp" is where Ryan spent many weekend trips with his Dad's side of the family. Explore the lake, go golfing at Sugarloaf Mountain, or hike/atv on the Bigelow Preserve. You will find an abundance of outdoor activities while exploring northwest Maine!
Up Route 1 you will find Rockland Maine, along with the small coastal villages of Camden, Owls Head, and Rockport. This is where Ryan was born and spent a lot of time visiting family and friends. All four towns offer a unique small town feel, great food, and wonderful ocean views.
