Day of Questions

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Formal - We'd love for our guests to dress in attire to match the elegance of the wedding. Think suits for men, but not specifically black tie. For ladies, think long or mid length, classy dresses!

Question

When Should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by September 16th, 2026 so we can finalize all the details for our celebration. To RSVP, go to the “RSVP” tab on our Zola website and enter your name exactly as it appears on your invitation. From there, you’ll be guided through a few quick questions about attendance. Thank you for taking a moment to respond!

Question

Is your ceremony and reception taking place outdoors?

Answer

No, the ceremony will be inside the Brandermill Church sanctuary, and the reception will also be held indoors at the Bolling Haxall House. No need to worry about the weather!

Question

Is there parking at the reception venue?

Answer

While the venue’s lot is limited, guests can find convenient street parking around the Bolling Haxall House. There is also a parking deck directly across the street, with hourly parking available from the Grace Street entrance (205 E Grace St). We also encourage carpooling or using rideshares like Uber or Lyft for an easy, stress‑free arrival.

Question

When should we book our accommodation?

Answer

We recommend securing your accommodation as early as you can! Our hotel block at the Hilton Downtown is available until September 16, 2026, but with fall being a popular wedding season, booking sooner will help ensure availability and the best rate.

Question

Are kids welcome at the wedding?

Answer

As much as we adore your little ones, we've decided to keep the wedding an adult only celebration. We hope this gives you a chance to enjoy a fun and relaxing night out!

Question

Can I Bring a Plus-One?

Answer

Due to limited capacity at the venue, we can only accommodate guests listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!
