Mickler's Beach (4265 Mickler Rd, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082) and the Jax Beach Pier (503 1st St. N., Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250) are two great beaches with public parking. Soak up some sun and enjoy some vitamin sea.
If you feel like exploring, head down to St. Augustine for the day. See the fort, visit a distillery, stroll down the cobblestone streets of St. George Street, take a horse-drawn carriage ride or trolley ride, listen to live music, have an ice cream cone, and try every kind of flavored popcorn you could ever imagine. I try to get down to St. Augustine every time I'm home. Convinced yet?
There are many places to golf around town: Sawgrass, home of The Player's Championship: https://tpc.com/sawgrass/ Marsh Landing Golf & Country Club:https://www.marshlandingcc.com/Golf.aspx Ponte Vedra Inn & Club (only available if you stay at the hotel) : https://www.pontevedra.com/recreation_and_activities/golf/ Jacksonville Golf & Country Club: https://www.jaxgcc.com/Default.aspx?p=DynamicModule&pageid=81&ssid=100100&vnf=1
Shop until you drop. This place is teeming with amazing shops and food!
Enjoy a meal in "19," the premier restaurant in the Sawgrass Clubhouse. With stunning views of the golfcourse, this place is the home of The Players golf tournament. If you're lucky, my youngest brother Luke will wait on you :)
Great seafood, and Atlantic Beach is such a cool spot.
Lots of restaurants and cute shops to peruse for a couple hours.
The. Best. Subs. I recommend a Peruvian (no onion) on wheat and smothered with Peruvian sauce. You won't regret it.
Really really really fun taco place, and the drinks are delish!
