This wedding is intended to be a celebration of love, family and fellowship. It is as much your celebration as it is ours (well... not really, but you get the point). The ceremony is intended to be relaxed and enjoyable. We will have a loving but mercifully brief ceremony at 11am, a short break for hors d'oeuvre's in the 3 seasons space of the venue, a celebratory luncheon, followed by a panoply of desserts served in the 3 seasons space, followed later in the evening by a casual fun night of food, games and a bonfire. We planned this to be quite the opposite of a typical wedding, and hope that the relaxed atmosphere is enjoyable for everyone.

A lovely luncheon is being prepared by our talented friend and culinary genius Jan Kent. The menu includes a classic regional Rochester NY dish called chicken french, a simple pesto pasta, and a fresh garden salad, served family style. (please visit the FAQs section of this website for links to the recipes for each of the items- menu could slightly change, please check back for updates to menu)

Casual bonfire attire

We plan to give everyone a few hour break, take some time to recharge, change into comfortable clothes, and meet back at the venue for a relaxed evening. We will grill out (brats and hotdogs- zweigles, baked beans, potato salad), have a bon fire, roast marshmallows, and laugh the night away. Everyone is welcome to bring their favorite party-pleasing dish to share. All are invited, though we understand not everyone will be able to attend the evening festivities (so, no pressure).
