When and where should I fly in?

Answer

We recommend flying to Europe in the evening and then sleeping on the plane, so you wake up in the morning. This helps minimize jet lag. We recommend flying into Milan Airport, as that's the closest major airport! From Milan, you can take a train or rent a car/uber/shuttle to get to Villa Porta. When should I come into town?

Answer

Feel free to come into town a few days early to get acclimated to the time change, but the first event starts on June 9th.

What's the menu going to be like for dinner?

Answer

We will update this once we confirm, but there will be a vegetarian and vegan option for the rehearsal dinner and wedding dinner. There will also be a gluten free option for the wedding night dinner.

What is there to do in Italy?

Answer

We're going to have live music and fun activities, but have prioritized down time so you can explore and relax when you'd like. The days are open, so feel free to go into town, hang by the hotel and get some sun, or schedule lake activities! A shuttle to travel to the main town is available, but please feel free to rent a car. Go eat some good food, sip on a spritz, shop, and enjoy the Italian lifestyle!

What's the weather going to be like in June on the lake?

Answer

Expect Italian summer weather, which will be cool in the evenings and pretty warm during the days. Since we're going to be on the lake, that should cool it off a bit. Bring a light jacket for evenings. Sunset will be around 8:30PM in June!

How do rooms and payment work?

Answer

They have reserved the facility and the rooms available are all different with their own unique character. You'll want to reserve them as soon as you can. Most of the payment will be due when you arrive or close to arrival. All you have to do initially is reserve - there will be a small deposit paid upfront.

What should I pack for the trip?

WARDROBE: A full pinterest/mood board for evening attire is coming early January. SIDE NOTE: You'll want to bring a European adapter so you can plug in your electronics. :)

PLEASE REFER TO MOOD BOARD ABOVE! WELCOME EVENT: Wear whatever you'd like! Casual summer attire. Boat Party: WHITE PARTY - Please see below for mood board! Rehearsal Dinner: You will be in the same outfit as the boat, since we will be exiting the boat and going straight to the rehearsal dinner. Wedding Day: Italian Summer! Bright colors and black tie optional. Please see mood boards above for inspiration.
