It all started back in middle school, when we met through the ATAC swim team and bonded over a sport we both loved. Before long, we became each other’s first boyfriend and girlfriend. Though our middle school romance lasted just six months, life had other plans for us. Even after we went our separate ways, we remained close—spending summers at the lake, cheering each other on at swim meets, and sharing family events. As the years went by and we both headed off to college, we stayed in touch from a distance, always keeping an eye on each other’s lives. Then, in December 2020, a simple DM rekindled something special. We reconnected, and on January 8th, 2021, we went on our first official date as adults. It felt as if no time had passed—like our love had simply been waiting for the right moment to return. Since then, we’ve grown together, taken things at our own pace, moved in together, and on December 13th, 2024, we got engaged. Our love story came full circle, and it’s only just beginning. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you—our friends and family who have been part of the journey.
