We met at our friends' wedding in Lyons, CO in October 2019. The bride, Nikke, was my childhood friend and the groom, Brandon, was Ryan's college roommate. Brandon had allegedly been trying to set us up for quite a while, but we had never been single at the same time. Conveniently enough, Ryan became single a few weeks before the wedding, where we met for the first time and hit it off. Brandon was very pleased with himself.

Ryan proposed in March 2022 on a cold and windy night in New York City while we were visiting Nikke and Brandon (yes, the same Nikke and Brandon from above). It was perfect full circle moment to have them be a part of the proposal. Brandon was even more pleased with himself then.
