It all began with a swipe on Bumble. From the moment we started chatting, it felt easy, natural, and exciting. Our first date on October 8, 2023, set the tone for what would become a beautiful journey. We saw the film Saw X at the cinema (a bold choice for a first date!) and spent the evening sipping drinks at the Cosy Club in Derby, talking for hours and discovering how much we had in common. From there, everything just clicked. On October 26, after a fun date escaping puzzles together at an escape room, he officially asked me to be his girlfriend. It wasn’t long before we realized this was something truly special. He said "I love you" first on December 2, and by Valentine’s Day, we’d already made the leap to living together. Since then, we’ve created so many incredible memories together. Christmas 2023 took us to Edinburgh, where we explored the festive markets and dazzling lights. In July 2024, we traveled to Egypt, standing in awe of the pyramids and soaking in the history. And in December 2024, we visited Paris, where we went up the Eiffel Tower and experienced the magic of the City of Love during the holiday season. The most unforgettable moment came on October 22, 2024, as we celebrated our anniversary. He booked a secluded lodge with a hot tub, arranged for a private chef to prepare a romantic meal, and surprised me with "I love you" balloons and a glowing candelabra spelling out the same. It was in that perfect setting that he proposed, and of course, I said yes! Every step of our journey has been filled with laughter, adventure, and love. Now, we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of our story with all of you!
