Somewhere between a swipe and a “why not,” Facebook Dating did its thing… and honestly, we’re both pretty glad it did. Our first date was simple but somehow perfect—starting with a drink, easing into a comedy show (because laughter is basically a requirement for us), and ending the night playing pool. Nothing over-the-top, nothing forced… just easy. The kind of easy where you don’t check your phone, you don’t overthink what to say next, and you leave thinking, “Okay… this might be something.” And it was. We knew pretty early on that what we had wasn’t ordinary. It felt natural, steady, and just the right amount of fun chaos, kind of like us. Us, In Real Life We’re both dedicated parents and professionals, but we’ve learned that life isn’t meant to be taken too seriously all the time. We laugh. a lot. We travel whenever we can, preferably somewhere sunny (because yes… we really love the sun). And if there’s nature, fresh air, and a little adventure involved, we’re in our happy place. Somehow along the way: Ryan became a little more open and a lot more patient Jennifer became… a Detroit Lions fan (she's still processing that one) Our house gained plants (that may or may not always survive) We learned from each other and grew into something more What We’ve Learned What makes us us isn’t just the big things—it’s the balance. We give. We take. We support. We grow. And instead of keeping score, we’ve learned it’s more like a dance—sometimes one leads, sometimes the other, but we’re always moving together. The Best Part Life is a gift, and somehow, out of all the people and all the timing and all the randomness… we became one, together. We are both so grateful that we found each other. It doesn't matter where, it doesn't matter when; just that it happened.... We are so blessed. And now, we get to choose each other—every day, on purpose. We can't wait to to celebrate us, with you!
