As the first American World War II Heritage City in the United States, Wilmington, NC is full of history. This city is rich in character and has many sites throughout the town that witnessed the changes over the years. There are many opportunities for a guided tour downtown via horse carriages, buses, etc. We highly recommend doing something like this, you'll learn so much!
