The venue has two swim holes! Bring your flotation, and the things you need for creek side chilling! We are certain folks will be chilling around the creek throughout the weekend. There is also a little stage down there for spontaneous music or performances! For those of you camping, this will be where you can dunk before you get glamorous for the wedding (no soap or other bathing materials in this salmon bearing creek please).
This is for experienced hikers looking for a bigger day and stunning views. The Goat Lake Trail is 45 minutes from the venue. The trail climbs 1,600 feet and is approximately 10 miles. Expect this hike to take about 5.5-6 hours and be prepared with water, snacks, hiking shoes, and sun protection.
Darrington is about 30 minutes from the takeout for the Skagit River. Plan for an entire day if you wish to do this! If you plan for Saturday, the ceremony starts at 5pm. Triad River Tours is the main company that guides on this river.
Rent a bike or bring yours and give these a try! Regretfully, we have not biked out here yet, but we can connect with our many mountain biker friends to get more beta if this perks your interest.
We love to stop here after a long day rafting! Great burgers! Arrive hungry and leave way too full. We recommend getting an order of waffle fries!
Another great spot that we like to go to after rafting! Great beer and pizza with a nice and laid-back ambiance.
