Known as the Catarinense Caribbean, this almost wild island has one of the most beautiful beaches in Florianópolis. In addition to a rich native vegetation, where trails pass that explore the beauties of the place. To get to Campeche Island, you can take a boat from beach Campeche, Barra da Lagoa or beach Armação. Depending on where you embark, the crossings last from 5 minutes to half an hour, and cost from R$100 (approx. $18USD).

There are approximately 60 minutes of uphill walking, which makes the trail a moderate level and a little tiring.
The Morro das Aranhas Trail offers one of the most sensational panoramic views of Florianópolis, a sea of water and dunes between the green hills of the north of the island. The course is of a moderate level. On this trail, you will find much more than native and secondary landscape, fauna and flora, in addition to being a private heritage preservation area, the trail is an open-air archaeological museum, as it contains endless paleolithic stories.
The “Central Market” is a great place to immerse yourself in the local culture. You can find everything, such as fish stalls, fruits, regional handicrafts. You can also enjoy typical Brazilian dishes in the local restaurants.
