Question

Why Can't Everyone Attend the Wedding & Sealing?

Answer

The wedding and sealing is being held inside a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and only members of the Church are allowed inside with active temple recommends. The wedding ceremony that we will be partaking in is a different type of ceremony than you may be used to. It is focused more on God and a covenant made with him as we join in marriage.

Question

Why Can't We Have Alcohol?

Answer

We don't (and won't legally be old enough to) drink alcohol, and we want our wedding celebrations to remain wholesome and fun without alcohol. We also want it to be kid-friendly, so we ask that you please do not bring any alcohol. If you do, you will be asked to discard it, and if you are not willing, you will be asked to take it elsewhere.

Question

What Will There Be For My Kids To Do?

Answer

We will have a kids table with coloring pages at both receptions for younger children, and the activities at each reception will be kid-friendly as well.

Question

Inside or Outside?

Answer

The Washington Reception will be held indoors, while the Kentucky reception will be held both in and outdoors.

Question

Am I Allowed a Plus One?

Answer

When you receive an invitation it is for your immediate family (Spouse/Partner and Children). If you want to bring someone outside of this, please let us know when you RSVP.

Question

What Should I Wear?

Answer

We don't have a specific dress code, but we would prefer if you dressed somewhat nicely and modest. It is forest themed, so we encourage you to dress in our wedding colors of Navy Blue, Maroon, Teal, Blue Green, Desert Sage, and Sage.
