Country Boy Mine is a fun place to experience and is one of the oldest mines in Summit County.
Experience a train ride from Georgetown to Silver Plume in the quaint town of Georgetown which is on the way from Denver to Summit County.
Leadville used to be "Silver Capital of America" during the silver mining boom in the 1880's. Downtown is cute and fun to explore including some old Saloons and well known Quincy's restaurant and Melanzana retail store. Note that Melanzana does require reservations for shoppers in the store. In addition Leadville is adjacent to Turqoise Lake and a lot of hiking and outdoor adventures. It is close to Mt Elbert which is Colorado's highest mountain!
Peak 8 in Breckenridge has Epic Discovery at the base of the mountain. It offers putt putt, gold panning, a maze, trampoline, alpine slide, mountain coaster.
Fun place for crafts and creativity. Candle making, pottery, canvas, art! This place has been around since Heidi was a little girl. This is where Heidi found out that Ryan had an additional artistic talent of painting and ceramics making a beautiful bowl. And also the place Ryan realized Heidi's artistic lack thereof. Nonetheless, all was enjoyed.
