You have to go here for breakfast while you’re in town — it’s one of our absolute favorites! And trust us… you have to try the duck butter! Hannah’s go-to is the waffle with a side of sausage (and plenty of duck butter, of course). Ryan’s favorite? The omelets — every one of them is a winner!
Boardtown Pizza & Pints
If you’re craving pizza and a cold drink, this is the spot! Boardtown Pizza & Pints is one of our go-to places in Starkville — they have an awesome drink selection featuring local beers, and the pizza never misses. Our favorite? The Kitchen Sink — it’s loaded with all the good stuff!
Thai Siam Restaurant
One of our favorite date night spots in Starkville! We always start with the Crazy Ahi Roll (you can’t go wrong there) and share the Drunken Noodles with Crispy Chicken — it’s our go-to combo every time. Cozy atmosphere, amazing flavors, and the perfect place for a night out.
Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge
If you’re looking to explore the natural beauty of Mississippi during your visit, we highly recommend checking out our local wildlife refuge! It’s a peaceful spot full of native wildlife and stunning scenery — the perfect place for a relaxing walk or a scenic drive. You might spot alligators or turtles basking in the sun, and the trails offer plenty of photo-worthy views. Whether you’re up for a short hike or just want to take in the sights, it’s a beautiful way to experience a bit of Mississippi’s wild side.

Take a walk around Mississippi State’s beautiful campus while you’re in town — it’s one of our favorite things to do! Explore the iconic buildings, soak up the Bulldog spirit, and don’t miss a peek at both the football and baseball stadiums. It’s the perfect way to spend a laid-back afternoon (and maybe grab some ice cream at the MAFES Store while you’re there!).
