Our Story

Hannah and Ryan met during their freshman year at Washington State University. They lived in the same dorm hall and shared mutual friends, who introduced them early on. But it wasn’t until the start of sophomore year that they truly connected and quickly became an important part of each other’s lives. In classic college fashion, their first date was at a sorority party—one of the infamous “Date Dashes.” Hannah asked Ryan to go with her, and of course, they had an unforgettable time. Ryan asked Hannah to be his girlfriend during one of their most memorable college weekends: ESPN College GameDay had come to campus, and it was a big event for the whole school. They spent the day surrounded by friends, cheering on their team, and spending time with Ryan’s family. As the day came to a close, Ryan officially asked Hannah to be his girlfriend. Since then, they’ve been together for over six years, sharing countless incredible memories. They grew up side by side, experiencing life’s early milestones together. After college, they settled down in Scottsdale, Arizona, where they began building a life and added a four-legged member to the family—their pup, Reese. Ryan proposed on November 8, 2024, in Scottsdale. It was a Friday evening, and he told Hannah they were meeting friends at a local Wine & Art Festival before dinner. But as they approached the festival, Ryan pulled over by a lake instead. Around the corner was a beautiful setup Ryan had handcrafted himself. There, he got down on one knee and proposed with Hannah’s dream ring. Then, instead of heading to dinner, Ryan drove to a stunning home—where both of their families, who had traveled in for the occasion, were waiting to celebrate. It was the perfect weekend filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Now, Hannah and Ryan can’t wait to celebrate their next chapter surrounded by all their friends and family in Hannah’s hometown.
