City Museum
One of the very best things to do in the city - a total playground for adults! Bonus (as if you needed one): rooftop ferris wheel.
Union Loafers Café and Bread Bakery
Make sure to check out this bread bakery and cafe near the Botanic Gardens! It would make the list of our favorites even if it wasn't owned by our officiant. Make sure to try the cheesy bread - you'll thank us later.
Reeds American Table
Excellent food all around, but especially great for brunch after a night of celebrating :).
The Royale
We went here on our first date after catching a movie at the Chase Park Plaza Cinema. Lots of laughing and flirting pursued. Great spot for bar food and some cocktails. Be sure to try the Subcontinental.
Boathouse Forest Park
A lovely spot to go for a meal or to paddleboat in Forest Park. Go paddle by Art Hill for a gorgeous view of the Art Museum!
Landmark Theatre Tivoli
In case you're looking to relax and catch a flick while you're in town, we'd recommend the Tivoli Theater. Originally opened in 1924, this small theater in the Loop has lots of character AND real butter popcorn. A real win-win.
Saint Louis Art Museum
The art museum is free (donation recommended) and world class. The views outside the museum are wonderful as well.
Soulard Farmer's Market
Check out this 200+ year old market on Saturday morning after the wedding. There are loads of vendors with fresh fruit and veggies, local cuisine and plenty more.
Imo's Pizza
Some of our very favorite pizza. Cracker-thin and stacked with provel cheese. There are locations all over the city and - gasp! - they deliver should you need a little help after the wedding. Fair warning: it's really easy to eat a whole pizza yourself and it's really rich.
The Shack Frontenac
A new Stack family favorite for brunch. Delicious daytime comfort food with an entertaining menu. Grab yourself a Shack-off (Bailey's, coffee, whipped cream and a mini doughnut) or a Meaty Mary (cucumber vodka, bacon, cheese cube, lime, olive and a beef jerky straw).
Casino Queen
No explanation needed for this puppy.
Cunetto House of Pasta
A local favorite in a historical neighborhood. Traditional Italian food, you can't really go wrong here.
