During the first week of both of our first semesters at Oklahoma State, Ryan and I separately decided to go on a blind date (aka coke date) that our fraternity (Pi Kappa Alpha) and sorority (Alpha Omicron Pi) were putting on for the freshman classes. Neither of us knew the details for this coke date but we decided to put ourselves out there and just have fun. The boys lined up outside of the sorority house from shortest to tallest, and the girls lined up inside the house from oldest to youngest. It just so happened that as the girls walked out, we had the same spot in line and were paired for the date! We went to Josh's Snow Cones in Stillwater (where we would later get engaged) and had a great time! Our fraternity and sorority ended up being paired for homecoming that semester so we spent many hours pomping side by side and getting to know each other. Later that fall we started dating and the rest is history!
