FAQs

The Wedding Website of Eve Lathrop and Ryan Forcier
Please find helpful answers to questions you might have before the big day! IMPORTANT NOTE: Our ceremony is cell phone-free. Please feel free to leave your phones in the car until after the ceremony or shut them off and leave them in your pocket.
Question

Can I take photos during the Ceremony?

Answer

No. We’ve asked a professional photographer to capture this special moment so that you can sit back, relax and enjoy it with us. Our beautiful images will be available after the wedding. Please turn off all phones and cameras during the ceremony. Please feel free to leave your cell phone in your car until after the ceremony. Much appreciated!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Once you have received the formal invitation, please RSVP as soon as possible. The sooner the better! RSVP Deadline is September 1, 2024.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue 15 to 30 minutes before the ceremony. The wedding ceremony (located near the Chapel) starts at 4:00 PM in the Veiled Garden. The reception will follow the ceremony in the Ballroom. Please reference the map above.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that you wear cocktail/semi-formal attire. For women: a cocktail- or floor-length dress or dressy separates. For men: suit or dress shirt with tie with slacks, and some nice dress shoes. Please avoid wearing hunter green and shades of white (for women only)! Thank you!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day an adult affair only. We thank you for your understanding!

Question

What is the purpose of the Red Envelope?

Answer

A red envelope has been provided in your invitation. If you wish to use it, here is some information regarding the cultural meaning behind the gesture. In Chinese culture, a red envelope with a monetary value is most commonly given at weddings. The red envelope symbolizes good luck and prosperity for the new couple as they embark on their new life together. If you choose to use the red envelope, please bring it to the wedding ceremony. Please know that your presence on our special day is the greatest present of all!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please reach out to either of us directly and we will do our best to make sure the venue can accommodate any requests. When you RSVP, you can also provide allergy information.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Please know that your presence on our special day is the greatest present of all! If you would like to celebrate with a gift, please look for the red envelope, or find our registry linked on this website.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
