We met during play practice our first semester. We were both on the crew for the play and saw each other almost daily, so that gave us a lot of time to talk. One day I asked him when he was going to ask me on a date so he asked me out right there. We had a movie planned for that Saturday, with many more movie dates to come.

We went to the movies, just wanting to go on a date before life got even more busy. We both were in our comfy clothes, and the movie we saw was so much fun. After the movie ended and the credits played, I asked what his favorite part was. Ryan told me he had to think about it. Everyone left and the lights came on and we were still there talking. When I started getting up to leave, he said “this is my favorite part.” I looked over to see him down on one knee, proposing.
