Along the Peloponnese coast, Ermioni and Porto Heli offer the perfect blend of relaxation and Greek charm.
Ermioni feels like an island village without leaving the mainland. Stroll the Mandrakia waterfront lined with tavernas and cafés, then wander through the pine-covered Bisti peninsula for ancient ruins and sunset view.
Porto Heli has a resort-style feel with calm waters, beach clubs, and elegant marinas with yachts drifting in.
From these towns, it is easy to either do a day trip (20 min ferry) or visit for the weekend to islands, Spetses and Hydra (no cars allowed on either island!).
Nafplio is a picturesque small city a 1 hour and 15 minute drive from Ermioni. It is a great location to spend a few days, or even a day trip to see the Venetian architecture, seaside restaurants, and boutique shops.
If you are driving in from Athens, quickly stop to see the Corinth Canal which is just off the highway on the route. Cool to see and it will only extend your trip by a few minutes!
