Thursday night farmers markets are a staple in SLO! If you are in town early enough you should definitely check it out. There are lots of different food options. Elaina's favorite snack is the street corn on a stick!

Downtown SLO Farmers' Market

It's almost against the rules to visit SLO without doing at least one wine tasting! Pretty much any winery in the Edna Valley are will be a great experience but Biddle Ranch is Elaina's (and most of the McNeil women's) recommendation.

Elaina's go to recommendation for drinks and bites is Luna Red in downtown San Luis Obispo. They have a beautiful outdoor patio. The sangria and bacon wrapped dates are a MUST!

Luna Red

Anyone feeling outdoorsy has a lot of options for hiking trails in the area, but this is Elaina's favorite! Moderate difficulty, but it has some of the best views of SLO from the top.

Bishops Peak Trail Head

A San Luis Obispo classic! Grab a tritip sandwich and a beer and watch some sports. (Yes Elaina is the one who wrote this)

Firestone Grill

Smaller beach than Pismo Beach, a little bit quieter and calmer with a very cute little downtown!

Avila Beach

For anyone in the mood to check out a Cal Poly student bar staple. Fun fact: this is where Elaina and Ryan had their first kiss! (You'll get bonus points if you order a Bull Sweat)
