How we met

Ryan and i went to high school together, he was a year ahead of me. I knew of the people he hung out with and he knew people i hung out with but somehow we didnt know eachother. Fast forward to 10 years later here comes Ry guy sliding into my dm’s on instagram! We chatted here and there but it didnt amount to anything until a year later when he tried again. This time one of my best friends Natasha (who was also really good friends with Ryan in high school) encouraged me to talk with him and see where it goes this time. So with that being said February 2019 is when our journey began!

The proposal

March 22, 2021

It all starts off with spaghetti squash. I had told Ryan thats what i wanted for dinner that night and he was wayyy too eager to get it for me instead of having to stop on my way home from work. I said ok and asked him if he even knew what it looked like haha. As the day goes on i asked him if he really went out and got it and he said yes. My shift ends, im on my way home and something tells me he really didnt so i call and ask if he did again. And like i thought, he didnt haha so i got annoyed and said i was going to stop but he quickly said he was going to run out right then and he wanted me to just come home…..suspicious…….so i get to our apartment and open the door and as soon as i walk in he’s down on one knee and asks me to marry him! That day he had picked up the ring, went and talked to my dad and asked his sister to help set up the proposal with roses and candles everywhere in the apartment! It was amazing, and on that monday night in march, i said yes :) Side note: incase anyone was dying to know if he actually got the spaghetti squash…….he got squash alright……spiraled zucchini.
