Obviously this is going to be written by Cortney because we all know Ryan isn't about to write out our love story. We first met while I was working at The Steaming Cup and Ryan working at People's Park. He would come into The Cup before work and I would go with co-workers after work to People's Park. Slowly but surely we started talking more and I invited him to start coming to the church that I was at (Shorepoint City Church). If it were up to him we probably would've started dating much earlier than we did but about a year later he asked me to be his girlfriend at a coldplay concert. Side note: coldplay is my FAVORITE band and he got us AMAZING seats! The rest is history. God has brought us through a lot and strengthened our relationship immensely. We are super super excited to continue our lives together as husband and wife.

Ryan and Cortney were going over to Cortney's parent's for dinner to celebrate her birthday. Her grandparents, aunt & uncle, brothers & parents were there. We were all sitting around the table and Ryan's kids went up to Cortney and said 'my dad has something to ask you'… it took Cortney a couple seconds to realize what was happening but then Ryan got down on one knee, said some thing's that aren't really remembered but 'will you be my wife' was definitely part of it. Of course Cortney said yes!!
