Let's get moosed

Two days after Corrin's 21st birthday, she went out with some Greek Life friends to celebrate finally turning 21! Ryan happened to be friends with one of the party-goers, so they got to talking at the bar for a bit. They would see each other here and there at different fraternity and sorority events, like the All-Star Football Game where Ryan was playing cool like he didn't know she was there. After hanging out for awhile and getting to know each other, they made it official!

Ryan & Corrin both love the beach. She had never been to Myrtle Beach until she met him and his family. Since then, they have gone multiple times, creating new memories each trip. The Myrtle Beach trip in August 2019 will be one for the books, though. There was a ton going on that week, like Ryan's bag getting stolen off the beach and trying to recover everything (this happened the day after they got there, too...). It ended up being the perfect distraction because Corrin had no idea what he was planning. Before dinner on that Sunday, August 4th, everyone went down to the beach to get some pictures since everyone was dressed up for the restaurant. Ryan and Corrin got a few pictures, so she started to walk away to go to dinner. He grabbed her hand and was shuffling around trying to get something out of his belt (his shorts were too tight, so a box in a pocket would've been too obvious). He stumbled for words because he was so nervous, but finally got out those 4 magical words, "Will you marry me?" and her heart exploded!

The ceremony and reception will be held at The Gathering Place at Darlington Lake in Darlington, PA. This beautiful venue sits on a small lake, with a little beach, and a gazebo over the water to get married in! There is also a fire pit to sit around as the night goes on. The theme is a beach wedding, how appropriate! Although the wedding is beach themed, please dress formal.
