Matron of Honor
We met in 8th grade and we still talk everyday. She lives in Charleston, SC and is an amazing mother to my boo, Heath, and wife to Ryan Stewart. Also, I dare someone to nurse as hard as she can! She is my Master of Disaster. No one I could trust more to prank call, sit on her parents stoop even until this day, adopt a Chihuahua named Paco (who I believe only had eyes for Milena), build Gizmo the turtle his own personal mud bath, long walks in Frick park, sharing recipes every week, and not to mention her current obsession texting with Collin about the Bachelor in Paradise. I hope that we can be eating pizza and Primanti's til the day we die. Also, glad we got to see Tom Petty before his unfortunate passing.
Best Man
A recent new resident of San Antonio with his wonderful wife Natyeli, my brother, Derek and I spent many a days in our childhoods fighting over the tv remote, video game controller, or who got to sit in the front seat of Greenie. Despite the inherent conflict, there was no one I had more fun with growing up. From playing sports in and around the house (including our favorite made-up game of hand ball, which never broke anything in the house, we swear!) to a shared love for Arsenal soccer, I couldn’t have asked for a better brother. I’d trust him with any of my childhood secrets (including who broke my grandparent’s lamp, which wasn’t either of us) and I’m proud to call him my best man.
Bridesmaid
The Queen Bee of teachers in Pittsburgh and renowned throughout the world. She is my rock. We also have climbed many rock walls together whether it be in Ecuador or Peru. I will never forget when I threw that chocolate banana in her face at the border. She is the mother of two beautiful children and wife to the sweetest and sweatiest man I know. She is also the only bridesmaid that has jumped off the dock in Indianola... double dog dares are in order.
Groomsman
A resident of Denver with his amazing wife Margaret, 2 year old Ellie, and a new baby, Mark and I have been friends since mark was a day old and we were rolling around on a blanket together (I was an old man at 2 weeks old at the time). It’s crazy how far we’ve come together. I remember watching SNICK on Nickelodeon, building forts, and playing super hero’s every other weekend. A celebration like Marrying Ryan wouldn’t feel quite as amazing without Mark Chance Muenchau by our side.
Bridesmaid
We call her Surly Junior. Her artistic value to anything and everything is monumental. Open minded, loving (even though she would never admit it), world traveler, goat lover, and the best cousin. She's fiercely loyal and I couldn't be happier to have her in my wedding. Now only if I could get her to move to Portland.
Groomsman
A resident of New York City, Jeff befriended me during my super awkward teen years of middle school. We spent the bulk of our Middle, High School, and college together passing time doing what were typical teenage stuff like cruising O Street while listening to Metallica and playing a video game or two. Our friendship is built on a solid foundation of odd memories, good times, and a love for photography and Popeyes. Sorry Jeff, Ryan wouldn’t let me have Popeyes cater the wedding.
Bridesmaid
This gal is so witty and smart it is hard to keep up. I feel extremely lucky to call her my sister now. She agreed to marry my brother so I commend her! If you need someone to make R.Kelly look good she is the PR consultant to hire. I absolutely love her drive and ability to travel anywhere. Respect.
Groomsman
A resident of Philly with his hilarious and amazing bridesmaid and wife-to-be, Michelle, he has endured Ryan as a big sister and now is stuck with me as well. We haven’t known each other long, but he has truly made me feel like a part of the family. It’s always fun talking Premier League soccer over group chats that include Ryan to annoy her and if I ever need a wine drinking buddy that knows how to pose with a plunger that looks like a rifle, Max is the man. #NeverForget
Officiant
The man, the myth, the legend and one of our favorite people. He is truly a man of many talents. Chef, Artist, Surfer, Coffee Snob, and did we mention his penchant for his girlfriend Sara's Chihuahua? Him and Collin hit it off right away over a game of Ticket to Ride (for those of you who know Collin are not shocked) in Tahoe. I can't find the words to explain how wonderful and open of a person he is. We are honored to have him marry us.
