FAQs

Question

RSVP

Answer

Kindly visit the “Bend the Knee or Send Regrets” page to send your raven (RSVP) by November 8, 2025. The realm thanks you for your swift reply as we prepare for the feast!

Question

At what hour should guests present themselves before the Realm?

Answer

The Ceremony of the Crown begins at the sixth hour past noon (6:00 PM). We kindly ask all guests to arrive by 5:30 PM, so none miss the opening of this most noble affair.

Question

Where may travelers find rest and lodging near the celebration grounds?

Answer

Aye! Many fine inns and lodgings lie close to the celebration grounds! For recommendations befitting all travelers of the Realm, please visit the “Travel” tab of this site.

Question

What attire is fit for the celebration?

Answer

The Betrothed humbly request that guests avoid short dresses, shorts, or open-toed shoes during this noble gathering. The color white is reserved solely for the bride, to honor her radiance on this special day. The immediate family of the bride and groom shall be dressed in black, a sign of respect and unity within the Realm. Guests are encouraged to wear attire worthy of those entering the realm of Game of Thrones — elegant gowns, tailored tunics, and noble-inspired dress that reflect the grandeur of the noble houses. While nods to the show’s style are welcomed, theatrical costumes, wigs, and overly casual attire are kindly discouraged to maintain a grand and tasteful affair. Should any guest desire guidance or suggestions, the Betrothed invite you to reach out directly for counsel.

Question

May guests bring a companion?

Answer

The Betrothed warmly welcome only those whose names are written upon the invitation. If a named guest cannot attend, their invitation may not be transferred to another, as the Betrothed wish to personally know and celebrate with every soul present. This ensures a gathering filled with familiar faces, heartfelt connection, and careful preparation for all. Thank you for understanding and honoring this wish from the heart of the Realm!

Question

May we bring children?

Answer

Nay, the Realm kindly requests that little lords and ladies remain in their keep during the celebration. This ensures all may revel fully in the feast and festivities without distraction. Thank you for understanding and honoring this wish from the heart of the Realm.

Question

Where may guests stable their steeds upon arrival?

Answer

An ample number of steeds (vehicles) may be stabled upon the grounds. All guests are welcome to arrive freely, though carpooling or rideshares are encouraged for ease and camaraderie on the road.

Question

Are the guests permitted to wield their devices to capture the ceremony?

Answer

The Ceremony of the Crown shall be an unplugged hour, and the Realm humbly requests that all phones and devices remain put away during this sacred moment. Thou art most welcome to capture merriment and memories during the feast and celebration that follow.

Question

Will the Ceremony of the Crown be held within the great hall or beneath the sky?

Answer

The ceremony shall be held inside within the great hall! Safe from wind, weather, and wandering Night Walkers alike.

Question

Are the Ceremony of the Crown and the feast held within the same keep?

Answer

Aye! Both the ceremony and the grand feast shall take place within The Castle at Rockwall.

Question

Will there be a pause between the Ceremony of the Crown and the feast?

Answer

Aye, there shall be a brief pause. During this time, guests may partake in a cocktail hour within the bar before the grand feast and revelry commence!

Question

What drinks shall be offered during the hour of cocktails?

Answer

Only the finest ales and wines shall be served to quench thy thirst during the hour of cocktails, promising a merry start to the night’s revelry!

Question

Will there be options for those with dietary restrictions?

Answer

Aye! The Realm shall provide fare to suit those with dietary needs. Kindly share any allergies or restrictions for thy party when you RSVP, so all may dine safely and well.

Question

Shall guests bring gifts to honor the Betrothed?

Answer

Though thy presence is the greatest gift the Realm could desire, those who wish may seek counsel from the couple’s registry to offer tokens of goodwill.
