Our story unofficially began in June of 2020 when we met at a small get-together with some mutual friends. After teaming up for a good ol’ fashioned game of beer ball, Carmine quickly discovered my competitive side—I carried our team on my back, while Carmine drove us to lose, and I made sure he knew that for the entirety of the night. The intimidation must have worked because it took a few more chance encounters over the next month and a half before he finally made his move into my Instagram DMs and asked me on a date. On July 21st, we grabbed dinner together at a local restaurant, and without sounding like a cheesy rom-com, the rest truly was history. Our first date lasted about 6 hours, and we both quickly realized that this was something special. Everyone always says, "When you know, you know," and Carmine and I must have taken that to heart, as we made it official on August 1st, 2020, just 11 days after our first date. Exactly a week later, we began 9 months of long distance, with Carmine 700 miles away at college. The past 6 years have been nothing short of an adventure. We've traveled to 9 countries and explored countless cities together, all while making friends with every dog we've met along the way and hunting down the best espresso martini the world has to offer. On November 29th, 2025, Carmine proposed on Pier 17 in Manhattan and planned the most perfect day celebrating with family and friends. Now, here we are, getting married almost exactly a year later, and we couldn't be more excited!
