If Spirit is closed down, another option for a direct flight would be to fly with Breeze. For those in CT and MA - you can leave from either Hartford, CT or Providence, RI (Portsmouth, NH is TBD) to Myrtle Beach.

Spirit Airlines is the easiest for guests traveling from Boston, MA. However, Spirit may not be booking in May due to the company closing down. It is an easy, direct 2hr flight. Overall, Spirit is easy to fly with and has great prices if you watch for dates.
