It all started with a carbonated crisis. Halloween freshman year, Bridget was dead set on bringing the Sun Drop girl mascot to life, complete with the iconic "drop it like it's hot" energy. The only problem? She needed an equally bubbly partner to be her Sun Drop boy. Enter Ryan, sporting a red sweatband and perfectly cuffed jeans, ready to complete this caffeinated dynamic duo. We barely knew each other's last names, but somehow we knew this was the start of something good. What began as a one-night costume collaboration turned into our annual tradition of coordinated Halloween couples costumes (though we swore it was strictly platonic, obviously). Our constant banter was unmatched. We could finish each other's thoughts and knew exactly what the other was thinking without saying a word. We got so eerily in sync that we'd actually accuse each other of stealing design ideas for landscape architecture studio projects. Looking back, we think we just both have impeccable taste. That has to be it.
