What started as a blind brunch date on Saturday, August 29th, 2020, at Bearss Tavern turned into a love story fueled by their love for each other and their love for God. Brunch led to a game of 2-square in the park, late-night chats, unconventional dates, and eventually a spontaneous trip to Atlanta, where their relationship became official on November 6th, 2020. Since the beginning of their journey, the couple has traveled to places like Mexico, the Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, and Puerto Rico, just to name a few. They once enjoyed the vibrant nightlife, but by God’s grace, their lives took a turn toward ministry and serving God. In 2021, the groom graduated with a Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering, while the bride graduated one semester later with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics and Information Systems. Both went on to pursue careers in their respective fields, with the bride currently working as a Senior Rules Associate in data, and the groom working as a Manufacturing Engineer in medical devices. Having both shared a love for math since their youth, it’s no surprise their brilliant minds landed them in the fields they are in today. This couple has dreams, ambition, and aspirations for a prosperous future and a lifetime together. On August 31st, 2023, the groom proposed to his beloved bride, and thank God, she said yes! From that moment on, excitement filled the air, leading to a celebration with family and a wedding date set for Saturday, December 14th, 2024. Little did they know, there was a twist in their story. The groom landed a job at his dream company, with the location assigned as Boston, Massachusetts. This meant the couple would be doing long-distance for over a year. But, doing things the right way in the eyes of God, they decided that a year apart was too long. So, they tied the knot earlier on May 25th, 2024, in a beautiful, intimate ceremony surrounded by close friends and family. They then enjoyed a honeymoon in Puerto Rico before flying to Massachusetts, where they have been residing ever since. Now, they say, “If it’s nice, do it twice (in one year).” With December 14th, 2024 swiftly approaching, let’s celebrate a love that’s true at wedding number two!
