Cathedral Grove, in MacMillan Provincial Park, is home of giant Douglas fir trees. Follow easy walking trails through towers of trees as old as 800 years.
The sandcastle competitions run from July 15 - August 18 and feature artists from all over the world. They each have 30 hours, over 4 days, to build their pile of sand into something remarkable using just sand and water. The end of the beach festival is marked with KidFest on Sunday August 18.
