Do I need to wear a mask?

Answer

In accordance with Santa Barbara County Public Health, all individuals ages 2 and older are required to wear a face covering in indoor settings, regardless of vaccination status, as of August 6, 2021. Please bring a mask! If you do not have one, we will provide a disposable mask for you. I know these are hard times, but we certainly want our day to be a safe and special one. If you don't feel well, please stay at home and take care of yourself! What is the weather like in Santa Barbara?

Answer

The weather is typically mild in September, becoming the warmest and one of the dryer months throughout the year. Daily high temperatures are around 76°F, rarely falling below 59°F. Bring a light jacket or shawl for those cooler days.

What's the dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Semi-formal: Gowns, suits, cocktail dresses, linen pants, short-sleeved button downs, maxi dresses, and sandals are appropriate. Don't forget to pack your flip flops if you plan on visiting the beach during your stay. We recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl as it may be a little chillier by the ocean.

When will the Bride and Groom arrive in Santa Barbara?

Answer

The Bride and Groom will arrive a few days early on September 7 and September 8 for some pre-wedding activities.

Where are the Bride and Groom staying?

Answer

A few days prior to the wedding, we will be staying at the Best Western located at 4558 Carpinteria Ave. Carpinteria, CA 93013. Then we will shift locations on September 9 to 1124 Castillo St. Santa Barbara, CA 93101.

Friendly reminder, this is a travelling wedding party!

Answer

The day of the wedding, we will be shifting from the ceremony at the Santa Barbara Courthouse, to Satellite Wine bar for cocktail hour then ending at Jane Restaurant for dinner. Good news! This is all within 5-10 minute walking distance, We recommend parking once in the public parking garage #7, located at 1115 Anacapa Street Santa Barbara, CA 93101. Please bring comfortable walking shoes! Please call or text Ryan or Brandie for more details if necessary.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, there is a preset menu for the welcome brunch and reception dinner. They do accommodate vegetarian, dietary and allergic needs. This will be made to order once the server comes around to take each individual order. Please call or text Brandie if you have any questions.

Is there public parking for the wedding festivities?

Answer

Parking is limited, we encourage carpooling or Ubering for your convenience or you may park on any side of the courthouse. However, we do recommend the Santa Barbara downtown public parking lot #7, located at 1115 Anacapa Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101. This parking garage is a 3-5 minute walk to the Courthouse and the additional wedding venues included in our schedule.

How do I get to The Andersen's Bakery and Restaurant for the Welcome Brunch?

Answer

Andersen's Danish Bakery & Restaurant located in Santa Barbara, California on 1106 State Street has been providing the Santa Barbara area with the finest authentic Danish and European cuisine and bakery items available. Masks may be recommended upon arrival, but may be removed once seated. All guests may order from the preset menu the day of the brunch.

Our second stop is this beautiful vegetarian restaurant and natural wine shop is located at 1117 State St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 and is about a 5 minute walk from the Santa Barbara Courthouse.

The last and final stop of this travelling wedding party is located at 1311 State St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101. For the reception dinner, we highly encourage parking at the Santa Barbara downtown public parking lot #7, located at 1115 Anacapa Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101. This parking garage is a 3-5 minute walk to the Courthouse and the additional wedding venues included in our schedule.
