We met at the first home game of the CU Buffs football season where we decided to go on a hike together the next day - Ryan was trying to impress Blair by sprinting up the mountain and almost died.

We were heading to the mountains for a morning uphill ski session, on the way there Blair decided she didn't feel like driving over an hour to Loveland so we saw some ski tracks on a mountain we were driving by and decided to check it out instead. We skinned to the top where you could see the frosted flatirons in the distance. Blair asked Ryan "which way should we ski down?" where Ryan responded "whatever is fine. I have a question for you though" and proceeded to get down on one knee and pop the question. It took Blair a minute to register what was happening, but she finally said yes!
