One swipe right + one super swipe right = the most unexpected best gift ever! We met online just a few weeks after Billy moved to Kansas City. After several days and nights of texting, we decided to meet. On a humid summer July night, we met for drinks in the River Market at Tribe. It only took a few, okay, it was several Michelob Ultras, and we decided to continue talking. The next several weeks were filled with multiple date nights at Minsky’s Pizza, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Ryan showing Billy around his new city. The rest of our story unfolded through a global pandemic, moving in together, job changes, and several trips across the states and countries, all with the help of to-go margaritas, silly costumes, themed parties, and too many jokes and laughs to remember. They say that love hits a person out of nowhere when you least expect it, and we are so thankful for how quickly we became each other's most unexpected find in this world.
